Admissions Monday through Friday.
IOP and PHP Therapeutic Support.

Reaching out is the hard part. And you're already doing it.

Maybe you've been carrying this for a while. Maybe someone you love finally said something, or you're just tired of surviving the week, and are ready to get back to living. Whatever brought you here — we're glad you found us.

About Therapeutic Freedom TX

The depression that looks like numbness. Not sadness exactly — more like the color has drained out of things you used to care about.

An adult trying therapy for the first time at 45. You waited a long time, and you're wondering if it's too late. It isn't.

The anxiety that looks like overworking. Always on, always ahead of the next thing, and quietly exhausted underneath it.

A Veteran carrying something they can't set down. You've handled harder things than this — but you were never meant to handle it alone.

A teen who's gone quiet. The door stays closed, the answers got shorter, and you're not sure how to reach them anymore.

You don't have to have the right words for it. If any of this sounds like your life right now, you're in the right place.

Care for real life, not a diagnosis code.

Who We Help

An adult trying therapy for the first time at 45. You waited a long time, and you're wondering if it's too late. It isn't.

More than weekly therapy.
Less than putting life on hold.

Most of what we do is called an Intensive Outpatient Program, or IOP. That's a clinical name for a pretty human idea: you come in a few days a week, a few hours a day, and get real support — then you go home, sleep in your own bed, and keep the parts of your life that matter.

While you're with us, you'll spend time in small group therapy, meet one-on-one with a therapist, and — if it helps — bring your family into a session or two. If medication is part of your care, we have people for that. And someone here keeps track of all the moving pieces so you don't have to.

Because life doesn't pause for treatment, we offer evening and Saturday options. You can come in person here in Mansfield, or join virtually from anywhere in Texas. When more support is the right call, our partial hospitalization program (PHP) steps things up without sending you away.

How We Work

We're clinician-owned, which means the people who run this practice are the same people who sit with clients in the hard moments. Small by design, intimate by intention. We built the place we always wished existed.

Therapeutic Freedom TX was built to be that humane middle — real, intensive support without asking you to leave your whole life behind to get it.

Why We Exist

Built for the in-between.

Too many people fall through the same gap: weekly therapy that isn't quite enough, and inpatient hospitalization that feels like too much. In between, there's often nothing.

Aqueelah knows what it's like to carry something you can't quite put into words. A U.S. military Veteran, she built our Veterans program from her own lived experience. As a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor (MSW, LCSW-S), she makes sure that experience is backed by the highest clinical standard — so the people who served get care that actually understands them.

Kierra knows that sometimes weekly therapy simply isn't enough. After years of working with children, teens, adults, and families across different levels of need, she saw the gap between traditional outpatient therapy and higher levels of care—and wanted to help close it. As a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor (PsyD, LCSW-S, RPT-S), she brings both clinical expertise and a deep commitment to creating thoughtful, relationship-centered care that meets people where they are and gives them the support they need to move forward.

Our People

The people behind the care.

Small enough that you'll actually get to know us.
Here are two of the people you'll be trusting with your story.

Your First Call

What happens when you reach out.

01

You call, and someone here picks up. It's a short, judgment-free conversation about what's going on — you say as much or as little as you want.

A real person answers

When it feels right for both of us, admission is usually within 24–48 hours. And if we're not the right fit, we'll help you find who is.

If it's a fit, we begin

03

We help you understand your options and check your insurance, so there are no surprises. No pressure to commit to anything on that first call.

We sort out the practical stuff

02

You set the pace. Nothing happens faster than you're ready for.

No script to memorize, no test to pass. Here's exactly how it goes.

Compassion

We meet you with warmth, never judgment — you're a person, not a chart.

Collaboration

Your healing is a team effort — you, your family, and our clinicians together.

Respect

Every story, every journey, every uniform. We honor where you've been.

Integrity

Clinician-owned and honest. The care we promise is the care you get.

What you can count on.

Our Values

If you're in immediate danger, call 911. If you're in emotional crisis or having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 — the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — any time, day or night. You don't need an appointment to receive help, and you don't have to wait for our next opening to reach out.

In crisis right now? You don't have to wait.

Prefer to join from home? Our live virtual IOP is available across Texas.

We're proud to serve teens, adults, Veterans, and First Responders throughout the DFW area.
